a summer spent
making a difference

our summer internships are both a ministry opportunity and a summer job.

Who Do You Hire?

Delta Grace interns must have a heart for service. They also must be responsible, hardworking, decisive, and kind, with willingness to serve an organization that is firmly rooted in the love of Jesus Christ.

The successful internship candidate will have experience or enthusiasm for serving others and must be willing to build relationships with church and community members.

How Does It Work?

Each summer, Delta Grace hires a group of interns to serve summer mission teams. The size of the intern group varies based on the number of applicants and anticipated need.

It is highly encouraged — but not absolutely necessary — that those considering an internship with Delta Grace have prior experience working with our organization.

What Will I Do?

  • PREPARE TEAMS FOR THE DAY BY GATHERING TOOLS AND MATERIALS
  • REMIND MISSIONERS THAT THEIR SERVICE IS ABOUT FORMING RELATIONSHIPS
  • LEAD PROJECTS
  • PREPARE FOOD FOR TEAMS
  • LEAD WORSHIP
  • FACILITATE EVENING ACTIVITIES
  • SHINE THE LIGHT OF CHRIST

Where Will I Live + What Will I Make?

Lodging, food, gas stipends and salary are provided.  Interns will stay in dorm-style rooms at the Taylor House for the duration of their internship.
The summer internship is a 9-week program with weekly downtime and one scheduled week off.
Salaries are based on what gifts and graces each intern has to share.  Interns willing to lead worship will receive a bonus.
