Delta Grace

a summer spent
making a difference

Our summer internships are both a ministry opportunity or a summer job.

Who Do You Hire?

Delta Grace interns must have a heart for service. They also must be responsible, hardworking, decisive, and kind, with willingness to serve an organization that is firmly rooted in the love of Jesus Christ.

The successful internship candidate will have experience or enthusiasm for serving others and must be willing to build relationships with church and community members.

How Does It Work?

Each summer, Delta Grace hires a group of interns to serve summer mission teams. The size of the intern group varies based on the number of applicants and anticipated need.

It is highly encouraged — but not absolutely necessary — that those considering internship with Delta Grace have prior experience working with our organization.

What Will I Do?

  • PREPARE FOOD FOR TEAMS
  • FACILITATE ACTIVITIES AND WORSHIP SERVICES
  • LEAD PROJECTS
  • PREPARE TEAMS FOR THE DAY BY GATHERING TOOLS AND MATERIALS
  • REMIND MISSIONERS THAT THEIR SERVICE IS ABOUT FORMING RELATIONSHIPS
  • Where Will I Live + What Will I Make?

Interns will stay in dorm-style rooms at the Taylor House for the duration of their internship. Meals are provided when missioners are present at the church.

Interns must raise a portion of their summer salary. Delta Grace will help in that regard by suggesting fundraisers.

Length of internships are determined on a case-by-case basis.
